The Venice Carnival is one of the most famous and exciting carnivals in the world: its origins are very ancient, and date back to 1000 years ago, at the time of the Serenissima Republic of Venice.

What are the dates of Venice Carnival? The Carnival time begins usually after the Epiphany day, and lasts until the Mardi Gras - the day before the Lent.
